One day soon Mad Dog will be a movie. In April of 2004 John Albanis of Symerra Productions, originally based in Calgary and now in Los Angeles, bought the film rights to Mad Dog. John began working on the screenplay. In 2005 John asked Kelly for help and they began working on the script together. As always in the film business, funding was an issue. There was lots of hurry up and wait. Kelly began working on a second book. John moved to L.A. Although John’s enthusiasm has not waned, Symerra Productions’ option has since expired.
