How to Get Unstuck When It Matters Most.
...perfectionism, (which) is the often paralyzing, anxiety-provoking drive for flawlessness."
Author Adam Alter has the best chapter on perfectionism I’ve ever read. He goes on to say that perfectionists can be driven and successfull, but they're often hypervigilant and self-critical. Ouch! He suggests that people learn to be satisficers instead of perfectionists or maximizers, because they are happier in the long run. He recommends for non-essential tasks, put aside a set amount of time to do something then stick with that rather than working and reworking endlessly. Informative and helpful. Thank you Adam Alter.
