Your experience of being alive consists of nothing other than the sum of everything
to which you pay attention.
I loved this book. Oliver Burkeman is known for his column on productivity but here he writes about the brevity and fragility of life. Reminds me of death meditations at the ghompa in Nepal. Many dharma students complained: Why are we focusing on death? And the answer usually was: So that you make good use of your miraculous human rebirth. Your life. #fridayreads
